Preparing for My Internship: Fixing the Portfolio, Writing the Story, and Starting the Hunt

For the past few weeks, I’ve been doing something I’ve postponed for too long:

Getting ready to apply for internships.

After three years of building projects, debugging labs, burning out over thesis deadlines, and pushing my technical limits, it’s time to face a new challenge — the real world.

🛠️ What I’m Working On

Internships don’t just reward skill — they reward clarity.
So here’s how I’m sharpening both:

1. Fixing My Portfolio

  • Updating layout, responsiveness, and dark/light mode support
  • Cleaning up code, improving loading performance
  • Improving project pages (especially LiftTrack) with clearer write-ups
  • Adding download options for my resume
  • Simplifying the UI for recruiters to scan faster

2. Writing My Blog Story

  • Publishing detailed posts for each academic year (first to third)
  • Documenting my thesis journey through the LiftTrack series
  • Adding a post for my DNS/email setup — because debugging deployment is real work
  • Reflecting on what I’ve learned — and what I’m aiming for next

“If a recruiter wants to know how I think, my blog will answer that faster than my resume.”

🧠 Why I Feel Ready Now

I’ve spent the last three years:

  • Building full-stack apps using Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Firebase, and Vercel
  • Developing mobile apps in Flutter and testing iOS builds in Xcode
  • Working with Python + AI models, experimenting with LLMs, and shipping custom inference code
  • Hosting and maintaining projects across different cloud platforms
  • Learning CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and cloud deployment workflows

Now I want to bring all that into a real-world team, learn from engineers in the industry, and contribute something that matters.

🎯 My Internship Goals

  • Work with engineers who build things that ship
  • Contribute to AI, web, or cloud projects that solve real problems
  • Learn how professional teams plan, scale, and collaborate
  • Improve my debugging, communication, and review skills in an actual production environment

🚧 Current Status

  • ✅ Portfolio redesign complete (Next.js + Tailwind CSS)
  • ✅ Blog structure + posts updated
  • ✅ Resume ready (PDF + Downloadable)
  • 🕐 Currently preparing for active internship applications
  • 🎯 Goal: Start sending applications within the week

🤝 Open to Collaborations

If you're reading this and you:

  • Need a reliable intern who can write, ship, and adapt fast
  • Are hiring for Python, full-stack, mobile, or AI-related work
  • Want someone who’s not just technical but curious, self-driven, and a fast learnerI'm open to chat.
Contact Me, view my resume, or chat with the chatbot I implemented and tweaked to answer questions related to me.

“I’m not just looking for a job — I’m looking for people who build things that matter.”
